Bloglines is a great free service online. It is a web-based RSS-reader, you can access it from anywhere. In my opinion that is more practical than having a RSS-reader on my local computer.

Trillian is a fully featured, stand-alone, skinnable chat client that supports AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, and IRC. I use Trillian and it is great to use one single client and communicate with all the other systems. Trillian is avaible at Cerulean Studios. There is a free version and a Pro version of Trillian.

PDF reDirect is a great free software that creates PDF files. It installs as a printer and can that way be used from any other software. I use PDF reDirect and it works really well.

It is fairly safe to assume that How to Regain Control of a Spooked Camel is not something I really need to know. But it turned up on my Google homepage today and lured me to wikiHow. wikiHow is a collaborative writing project to build the world’s largest how-to manual.

Turning the Pages at the British Library is a fascinating service that lets you access some rare books in a new way.
Among the books you will find the Diamond Sutra, Jane Austen’s History of England, the Leonardo Notebook, the Lindisfarne Gospels and the Mercator Atlas of Europe.

Skype is not new but it is a great service. The basic service Skype to Skype (computer to computer over internet) is free. Over time Skype have added Voicemail, SkypeOut (call landlines and mobiles direct from Skype) and SkypeIn (receive calls from landline and mobile phones).

Pandora is a great music site. Tell it which music you like and it plays similar music. For each song Pandora plays you can say whether you like it or not, that makes the selection better and better. You can have up to 100 stations at any one time.
