Firefox has many themes (skins). I think many of theme are too fancy, I prefer to keep things simple. After all, what I see on the web is more important than the look of my browser. The theme I use in Firefox is called Classic Compact.

Thunderbird can also be modified/extended using add-ons.
Options Menu gives easier access to the options for installed add-ons.
Contacts Sidebar displays the address books in a sidebar in the 3-pane-window.
Signature Switch makes it easy to handle several different signature files.

Songbird is a desktop Web player, a digital jukebox and Web browser mash-up. Just like Firefox it is built from Mozilla, cross-platform and open source. Songbird is still a developer preview (version 0.2.1 0.2.5 ) but this software looks very promising. Take a look at their screencast.
