The BBC website has a really interesting section titled BBC Languages. You find courses in Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Greek, Chinese as well as some other languages.
There is an online course titled Mi Vida Loca which is Spanish for beginners, I think I will try that one.

New York Times used to charge for access to parts of its content. I found that annoying and stopped going there, there are many other sources for news. Now they have changed their mind, Times to Stop Charging for Parts of Its Web Site which I think is great.
